Our History
Our history goes back to the year 1970 when the founder of SAHARA MEA started business activities in general trading, construction, and representing foreign companies in Iraq by establishing Faiq S. Abed Bureau, followed later by establishing specialized companies within different fields under separate entities.
Many projects have been executed in construction and civil engineering fields in addition to supplying equipment, materials and providing consultancy services to different sectors in the Oil Field and Water Industries.
In 2010 the shareholders’ decision came to establish the current entity of Sahara Middle East Petroleum Services with the objective in mind to be fully focused service provider for oil and gas sector.
